The Chinese Arctic and Antarctic Administration, Computer Network Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Beijing Teenager Science and Technology Club partnered for a major International Polar Year (IPY) event- an international internet videoconference involving International Action on Global Warming (IGLO), seven science centers, NASA and MAGPI. Five students from Beijing No.4 Middle School, High School affiliated with Peking University, High School affiliated with Renmin University and Beijing Royal School prepared presentations for the event. Four scientists acted as their advisors are Dr. Chen Liqi, State Oceanic Administration, Dr. Liu Xiaohan, CAS Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Dr. Gao Dengyi, CAS Institute of Atmospheric Physics and Dr. Lu Longhua, Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences.
