Golden Birdwing (Troides Aeacus)

  Troides aeacus has a black body. There are red hairs on the either side of its head, neck and thorax. The sides and its belly are all golden. Its fore wings are black and the color of its wing sides is light. Its hind wings are golden. The veins of its wings and the spots on them are black. It thus gets its name. Its black fore wings and golden hind wings are decorated with black dots and stripes, which make the butterfly more elegant and precious. The wingspan of it is 145-170 mm. It distributes in Shanxi, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan and Tibet in China.
