¡¡¡¡Habitat: tropical and sub-tropical forests.

¡¡¡¡Feeding habits: catch its prey or pick up fruits with its hands in tree trunks or in branches.

¡¡¡¡Food: wild fruits, young leaves of vegetations and insects.

¡¡¡¡Size: with a body length of 50-66 cm and a tail length of 17-23 cm. 

¡¡¡¡Habits: live in broad-leaved forests in groups and mostly act in trees. Compared with other types of macaques, its face is longer and its rhynchodaenm is more protruding. 

¡¡¡¡Category: mammalia, primates, macaque.

¡¡¡¡Distribution: South of Yunnan and South of Southwest China.

¡¡¡¡Level of protection: class I key state protection animal of China
